Conor McGregor SUED By Former Teammate, 'Proper Twelve Was My Idea!!!'
Lobov is suing McGregor for a piece of the sale of Proper 12 Irish Whiskey, a brand he claims he helped build, via Irish Independent.
When Artem Lobov heard his training partner Conor McGregor say “we’re not here to take part, we’re here to take over,” he skipped the taking over part and went straight for taking a part. Lobov wants a piece of McGregor’s $600 million sale of Proper 12 Irish Whiskey, stating that he came up with the idea.
We’re far removed from the time McGregor sought vengeance after Lobov was harassed by Khabib Nurmagomedov - culminating in the “Notorious” throwing a dolly at a UFC bus, injuring multiple fighters in April, 2018.
Now, it seems instead of going to war with each other, Lobov and McGregor will be going to war against each other. The Irish Independent reports that Lobov has stated he “was instrumental in developing the brand” and is suing for what he believes is proper compensation.
Get your popcorn folks. The Irish and the Russians are going at it again!
On this week's episode of the Fight SZN Podcast, UFC lightweight stud Jalin Turner joins the pod to chop it up about a variety of topics, including: recovering from injury; fighting Dan Hooker at UFC 285; Islam Makhachev vs Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 284; Drew Dober calling Jalin out after knocking out Bobby Green; and Jalin even shows us his tarantula collection and other pets!
Jalin Turner is on the warpath at 155 - with his eyes set on hanging "The Hangman". During an appearance on the Fight SZN podcast, Turner told Inside Fighting's Andrew Capucetti and Jesse Rowe that a showdown between him and Dan Hooker is in the works for UFC 285.
"We're working on Dan Hooker," responded Jalin when asked on who he wanted to fight next. "I'm waiting on a little confirmation, and we're good."
