BKFC 41 features the bare-knuckle debut of former UFC champion Luke Rockhold, taking on former UFC welterweight Mike Perry

BKFC’s biggest PPV event of the year has arrived. “Platinum” Mike Perry looks to continue his undefeated run in bare-knuckle boxing as he takes on former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold. The co-main event of BKFC 41 also features two former UFC fighters as Eddie Alvarez makes his bare-knuckle debut against Chad Mendes. Alvarez is the former UFC lightweight champion, while Mendes was a perennial UFC flyweight contender. Eddie Alvarez and Chad Mendes lost to Conor McGregor during the Irish superstar’s legendary featherweight run.

Christine Ferea and Bec Rawlings will compete for the BKFC women’s flyweight title. Adding to the trend of former UFC fighters joining the BKFC, the main card kicks off with a heavyweight showdown between Ben Rothwell and Josh Copeland.

The preliminary card starts at 7 PM EST and can be streamed for free on the BKFC YouTube channel (video provided below). The main card is slated for 9 PM EST and is available for PPV via Fite.TV or BKFC.com

A statement from Nate Diaz representative, Zach Rosenfield:

“Today, the Orleans Parish District Attorney informed us they will not be pursuing a case against Nate Diaz.

Since Rodney Peterson sought out to fight Nate on Bourbon Street, we have maintained Nate’s actions were ...100% in self defense. It was clear on video, clear in pictures and clear from the multiple other videos Rodney posted before and after.

Nate has a right to defend himself against those who want to make a name for themselves and did so.

We appreciate the Orleans Parish District Attorney taking the time to review all aspects of this case and their decision to not proceed with it.” 💯👊 @natediaz209
