Money talks, and in Jake Paul’s case, it talks a lot. According to Sportico, the young boxer is already one of the highest-grossing athletes under the age of 25 as he made 37 million dollars from the sport in the last year.

Paul made his professional debut in January 2020 and has already scored five victories, including four knockouts. Initially, the list of Paul’s victims included just Ali Loui Al-Fakhri, a.k.a. AnEsonGib, and former NBA player Nate Robinson. In 2021, Paul took on former One Championship welterweight kingpin Ben Askren before scoring back-to-back victories over former Ultimate Fighting Championship 170-pound titleholder Tyron Woodley.

In his latest appearance, Paul faceplanted Woodley in the middle of the ring following a vicious overhand. The official time indicated the 2:12 mark of Round 6. The result is even more impressive since “The Chosen One” had never been left senseless by a strike in his 27-bout MMA run.

Paul, who turned 25 in January, took to Twitter to celebrate the milestone. The brother of Logan teased that he would compete for the sixth time on Aug. 13, but he didn’t announce his next opponent yet.

“Made my pro-debut January 30, 2020. 2 years & 4 months later, I’m the 6th highest paid athlete in the world 25 and under 🤯. Hate me all you want…I’m just gonna prove you wrong. Next stop August 13th,” Paul wrote.

Paul joined a ranking that included the names of Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen, tennis star Naomi Osaka, Paris Saint-Germain’s forward Kylian Mbappe, and Formula 1 star Max Verstappen. Sportico’s full top 10 reads:

  1. Josh Allen: 66.5 million dollars
  2. Naomi Osaka: 53.2 million dollars
  3. Kylian Mbappe: 48.8 million dollars
  4. Max Verstappen: 43 million dollars
  5. Marshon Lattimore: 41 million dollars
  6. Jake Paul: 37 million dollars
  7. Devin Booker: 35.5 million dollars
  8. Trevor Lawrence: 32.8 million dollars
  9. Donovan Mitchell: 32.5 million dollars
  10. Jayson Tatum: 30.3 million dollars
