"Maybe Logan can take out Nick."
Jake Paul has always been very vocal about his plans, and now he is working to make the much-talked boxing clash with Nate Diaz happen. Paul looks to face the Stockton gangster and current Ultimate Fighting Championship superstar on the squared circle before 2025. The YouTuber has also figured out the weight, as he will offer Diaz a clash at 180 pounds.
"That's gonna happen in the next two years," Paul said on the TimboSugarShow. "It's huge, man. It's getting closer and closer to being real. Finally, the UFC got him the fight with Khamzat [Chimaev]… Me vs. Nate will probably be at 180. Then it'll be Jake Paul beats Nate, and it gets closer and closer to Conor [McGregor] not being able to duck me anymore."
Paul doesn't just want to face Nate, he's also open to locking horns with his opponent's older brother, Nick Diaz. In fact, Paul believes he can take both out. Alternatively, Jake's brother, Logan, can uphold the family's honor as he takes on Nick. Maybe even on the same card.
"I could f**k them both up, or maybe Logan can take out Nick," concluded Paul.
At the moment, Diaz still has one fight left with the UFC, a scheduled bout with rising star Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 279 on Sept. 10. It's unclear whether the next one will be Diaz's last Octagon walkout or the UFC superstar has already reached a new deal with the Las Vegas-based promotion. Still, many people believe that Diaz will bring his skills to the boxing world, including Golden Boy Promotions founder Oscar De La Hoya.
Paul is looking for a new opponent after his scheduled fight with Hasim Rahman Jr. was canceled due to weight issues. The pair should have clashed at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Aug. 6.
