John Fury Goes Shirtless, Tries to Fight Jake Paul at Mayweather vs. Deji Event
“Get in this ring now, you f***king b***h!” - a furious John Fury to an antagonistic Jake Paul after Tommy Fury’s exhibition bout against Rolly Lambert.
The patriarch of the Fury family showed why fighting is hereditary at the Mayweather vs. Deji event, where he ripped his shirt off and challenged Jake Paul to meet him in the ring after his son Tommy’s exhibition bout against Rolly Lambert.
John Fury lived up to his name - and showed the fighting spirit that he imbued in his sons Tyson and Tommy. The incident started with Jake Paul heckling Tommy Fury from the commentator’s booth, after some unflattering play-by-play. When asked what he made of the fight, Paul offered one word…”Sh*t.”
There was no declared winner between Fury and Lambert, as it was an exhibition bout - but Paul had been lambasting Tommy since he missed weight by 6 lbs.
Utterly unimpressed, Paul took his heckling to the next level, shouting “you have no d**k!” from the booth.
John Fury wasn’t having it - going shirtless and inviting the much younger Paul to settle the score inside the ring.
Jake Paul was originally scheduled to fight Tommy Fury last August in Madison Square Garden, but the event was scrapped due to alleged visa issues that prevented Fury from entering the United States.
The tensions are rising between the Paul and Fury camps, and it seems a bout between the two may be back on the cards. The question now is…who is fighting Jake, Tommy or John?
Ex-UFC heavyweight Mark Hunt knocked out former New Zealand rugby star Sonny Bill Williams in a boxing match on Saturday … and then officially retired from combat sports.
Though The Super Samoan has long been known as one of MMA’s hardest hitters, he entered Saturday’s bout in Sydney, Australia, as a heavy underdog.
