JUSTIN GAETHJE VS. RAFAEL FIZIEV CONFIRMED FOR UFC 286 IN LONDON | Inside Fighting

The lightweight barnburner fans were hoping for is going down – March 18th from the O2 Arena in London, England. Justin Gaethje takes on Rafael Fiziev on the main card of UFC 286 in what promises to be an early Fight of the Year contender.

Rafael Fiziev comes into the bout on a 6-fight win streak, currently the 6th ranked lightweight. Justin Gaethje represents his first test in the top 5 of the division, currently ranked 3rd.

Gaethje is coming off a championship loss to Charles Oliveira at UFC 274, where he was submitted in the first round via rear-naked choke. However, the heavy-handed Gaethje is a fan-favorite whose ledger includes some of the most exciting fights in UFC lightweight history, including an all out war with Michael Chandler at UFC 268.

The winner of the fight puts themselves firmly in title-shot contention, likely being another win away from a chance at UFC gold.
