“They are all full of sh*t,” Oscar De La Hoya stated in a comment replying to Inside Fighting’s Instagram post about Conor McGregor’s deleted tweet. “These kids are funny.”

Floyd Mayweather’s nickname may be “Money,” and Conor McGregor is known for being the wealthiest MMA fighter of all time - but they still can’t touch the billion dollar Golden Boy.

Oscar De La Hoya put McGregor and Mayweather in their places when he responded to Inside Fighting’s Instagram post about Conor’s comments on Floyd’s alleged earnings.

“They are all full of sh*t,” De La Hoya commented. “I stay retired because I made smart moves like owning a MLS soccer team or owning buildings in downtown LA. Oh and don’t forget I own Mayweather’s fights, plus Golden Boy is worth [$1 billion] when I sell. These kids are funny.”

Oscar De La Hoya founded Golden Boy Promotions in 2002, becoming the first Hispanic to own a boxing promotion company. He is also the owner of the Houston Dynamo Major League Soccer club, and owns multiple buildings in Los Angeles.

According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, De La Hoya also recently purchased an insane luxury house in the Henderson hillside community of MacDonald Highlands for $14.6 million - in cash. Here’s an artist rendition of the luxury estate:

It just goes to show that when it comes to funds, Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor have a long way to go before they catch up with the Golden Boy.
