Sergei Pavlovich STEAMROLLS Curtis Blaydes, Sets 1st Round Knockout Record in UFC
Sergei Pavlovich continues his reign of knocking out UFC heavyweights in the first round.
Sergei Pavlovich did what Sergei Pavlovich does – melt top ranked UFC heavyweights inside the first round.
The swarming Russian bruiser overwhelmed Blaydes with a punishing jab and sneaky uppercuts – getting the TKO finish at the 3:08 mark of round 1.
It wasn’t just a typical performance for Pavlovich either – it was a record-setting one. He is now the record holder for the most 1st round KOs in modern UFC history.
The only question now is – when does he get his title shot?
The expectations were for UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones to fight Stipe Miocic during International Fight Week in July – but that no longer appears to be the case.
Judging from the reactions of MMA fans and media, people would much rather see the showdown between Jon “Bones” Jones and Sergei Pavlovich than the matchup against Stipe.
Which fight would you rather see? Let us know in the comments.
