In a 170-pound tilt on the UFC 277 undercard, Morales (14-0, 2-0 UFC) overcame Ultimate Fighting Championship newcomer Adam Fugitt. Dana White's Contender Series alum Morales put on a show for the fans and showcased his varied arsenal alternating traditional shots with Superman punches. In Round 3, Morales hit Fugitt (8-2, 0-0 UFC) with a right hand that knocked down his foe. Smelling blood, Morales poured more shots on his adversary until referee Herb Dean jumped in to stop the contest. The official time indicated the 1:06 mark of Round 3.
