Jalin Turner says a lightweight barnburner between him and Dan Hooker is targeted for UFC 285.

Jalin Turner is on the warpath at 155 – with his eyes set on hanging “The Hangman”. During an appearance on the Fight SZN podcast, Turner told Inside Fighting’s Andrew Capucetti and Jesse Rowe that a showdown between him and Dan Hooker is in the works for UFC 285.

“We’re working on Dan Hooker,” responded Jalin when asked on who he wanted to fight next. “I’m waiting on a little confirmation, and we’re good.”

Turner is riding high right now – a 5-fight win streak with 5 finishes. Two TKOs, three submissions – the guy is good everywhere.

“They keep lining them up, I’ll keep knocking them down,” Turner continued. “It’ll be a good fight … I see myself getting my hand raised at the end of the night.” When asked how he gets it done, Turner gave a candid response – “I’m finishing everybody, bro!”

Dan Hooker is coming off a TKO victory over Claudio Puelles at UFC 281, but is 2-4 in his last 6 fights.

A victory over Hooker would give Turner his second win over City Kickboxing fighters – having submitted Brad Riddell in his last fight at UFC 276.
