Israel Adesanya vs. Alex Pereira is one of combat sports’ greatest rivalries – but that doesn’t mean the pair can’t keep things lighthearted. Adesanya and Pereira ran into each other at the airport, sharing a laugh over the fact that they just can’t seem to escape each other.
Each fighter has a win over each other in MMA, with Adesanya recently reclaiming his middleweight strap over Pereira via 2nd round knockout at UFC 287. Although Pereira has 2 more wins over Adesanya in kickboxing, it seems like the saga between these two is over – at least inside the cage. Pereira made the decision to move up to 205, taking on former UFC Light Heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz at UFC 291 in July.
