Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira Face Off On Top of the Empire State Building, Trash Talk Ensues
In yet another stroke of promotional genius by the UFC, UFC Middleweight Champ Israel Adesanya and challenger Alex Pereira met face to face for an epic photo op on top the legendary Empire State Building!
The visuals of it alone are worth it, but when you include the fact that Alex and Izzy exchanged some words in front of the cameras, it all but solidifies one more awesome moment under the belt of the UFC’s marketing team.
It’s hard to catch what was said between the two fighters, but one would venture to guess that it wasn’t of a friendly nature. Izzy and Alex have a history in MMA before the UFC, dating back to their days in Glory Kickboxing. Alex has had the upper hand in both of their previous fights, even shockingly knocking Adesanya out in one of their meetings. So there’s a lot riding on the line for this one.
Izzy and Pereira face off this Saturday night, November 12th at Madison Square Garden… Though we personally wouldn’t mind seeing them square up overlooking the city landscape instead.
