Ryan Garcia is a fan of “The Last Stylebender” – Israel Adesanya finally got redemption over his longtime rival Alex Pereira when he knocked him out at UFC 287, and Ryan Garcia thinks a showing at his bout against Gervonta Davis would be a perfect stop on Izzy’s revenge tour.

“If [Israel Adesanya] wants to come watch … I’ll try to find [ringside tickets] for him!” – Ryan Garcia

Inside Fighting’s Andrew Capucetti was on the scenes for an open workout hosted by Ryan Garcia – where the boxing superstar talked about Adesanya’s big win, as well as his upcoming megafight against Gervonta Davis.

“[It] a special moment,” Garcia stated when asked about Adesanya vs. Pereira 2. “[Adesanya] got beat three times, and he finally got it done. So, kudos to him.” The boxing superstar tweeted his congratulations for Adesanya moments after the massive KO.

A lot of fans were speculating about a potential trilogy bout in the UFC between Adesanya and Pereira, which is something Garcia expects to see. “I know [Adesanya] as a warrior and as a champion, he’ll end up wanting to fight [Pereira again,” Ryan stated. “Deep down in his heart, [Adesanya’s] going to be like, ‘nah, I’ve got to get one more victory over [Pereira]!'”

Garcia made his statements before Pereira announced on his YouTube channel his intentions to move up to light heavyweight – so the rematch with Adesanya doesn’t look like something that will happen on the immediate horizon. Still, Garcia believes that it’s an inevitability.

“If [Adesanya] is truly the warrior he says he is, I feel like, sooner or later, he’s going to say to himself, ‘nah, I’ve got to get another one,'” Garcia explained. “If a man beat me three times, and I only get one … as time goes by, it’s going to be eating me inside.”

Regardless of whether or not the trilogy bout happens, Ryan Garcia is a fan of Israel Adesanya. “I love his warrior mindset, I love what he represents,” Garcia stated. “He tries to represent hope, as a human … I really respect that type of person.”

Ryan Garcia is taking on Gervonta “Tank” Davis on April 22nd from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event will be available on DAZN PPV.
