The face of boxing is back in the win column – decisively.
Ryan Garcia beat down Oscar Duarte across 8 rounds, with the ref calling off the action in the 8th. Garcia looked as good as ever – taking the lessons he learned in his fight against Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis and coming back stronger than before.

The left hook was the difference in a competitive fight. Garcai’s speed proved to be too much, landing that fateful knockout left with aplomb in the later rounds.
Every aspect of Garcia’s game was on point – a quick jab, sharp footwork, and punishing hooks. Duarte had some moments – finding a couple of good shots to the body. However, Garcia was just too good.

With himself firmly back in the win column, Garcia wasted no time making his next callout – Rolly Romero.
Ryan Garcia calls out Rolly Romero for a WBA super-lightweight world title fight after knocking out Oscar Duarte: "You got beat up by that old dude, we know what happened… Let's keep building, then we can go after Devin Haney, Teofimo Lopez."

Romero was none-too-impressed with Garcia’s performance over Duarte – predicting an easy night at the office for himself should the fight ever materialize.

There are a litany of good fights on the docket for Garcia – include potential matchups against Devin Haney and Shakur Stevenson. However, the Rolly Romero fight is also a banger and makes a lot of sense.
Whatever’s next – there’s no doubt, the King is back.
