Chuck Liddell gave a perfect prediction for the outcome of Makhachev vs. Volkanovski at UFC 284.
They call him the Iceman – but it looks like he has a crystal ball. Chuck Liddell’s prediction for an Islam Makhachev win at UFC 284 proved to be spot on.
“I called that earlier,” Liddell told Inside Fighting’s Andrew Capucetti at the Super Bowl. “Too much weight, too heavy, and a wrestler. Wrestling is where [size] makes the most difference.”
Chuck first shared his UFC 284 prediction outside Bellator 290, where he gave the same reasoning.
Islam Makhachev vs. Alexander Volkanovski was a competitive fight – more so than many predicted. But ultimately, Liddell’s prediction proved to be spot on – Islam’s wrestling made the difference.
