Conor McGregor hits like a truck – but he also got hit by a car while riding his bike. The UFC superstar appears to be OK after being struck by a moving vehicle, crediting his wrestling and judo training for sticking the landing.

“Got a bang of a car just now from behind. A sun trap, the driver couldn’t see me,” McGregor wrote in the caption of the Instagram post. “Full speed straight thru me. Thank you God, it wasn’t my time. Thank you wrestling and judo also. Having an awareness on the landing saved my life.”

The driver ended up giving McGregor a ride after the accident. Identified as “Nick,” he was profusely apologetic. But Conor was very forgiving. “All good mate, all good. Don’t worry about it,” McGregor stated.

It’s unclear whether this accident will affect Conor’s plans to return to the UFC Octagon in 2023.
