CONOR MCGREGOR TO COACH TUF AGAINST MICHAEL CHANDLER, WILL FIGHT AFTER SEASON
Dana White confirmed that Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler are the TUF Season 31 coaches.
Get ready for fireworks.
After rumors circulated that Conor McGregor was offered to be one of the coaches for the next season of The Ultimate Fighter, Dana White announced this morning that the rumors are true – and he’ll be coaching against Michael Chandler.
“[TUF Season 31] premieres May 30th and runs through Tuesday, August 15th … then, at the end of the season, McGregor and Chandler will fight,” White stated in a video posted to his Twitter.
It’s McGregor’s return to action after snapping his leg at UFC 264 against Dustin Poirier. He’ll be welcomed back by Chandler in what promises to be an explosive battle.
Dana White stated that there were no dates or locations for the showdown. He also failed to mention whether the fight would be contested at lightweight or welterweight.
