DAN HENDERSON SAYS JON JONES HASN’T BEEN THE SAME SINCE TESTING POSITIVE FOR STEROIDS
Dan Henderson doesn’t think Jon Jones is the same guy without PEDs.
Dan Henderson thinks Jon Jones hasn’t been Jon Jones without the juice. Inside Fighting’s Andrew Capucetti caught up with “Hendo” outside Bellator 290, where the UFC legend shared his thoughts on Jon Jones vs. Ciryl Gane.
“I don’t think Jon Jones [is] the Jon Jones … before he got tested positive [for PEDs] a bunch of times. He’s never been the same since,” Henderson replied when asked about Jones’ move to heavyweight. “He probably quit doing that s**t, yeah.”
Although he didn’t official give a pick in Gane’s favor, Henderson wasn’t too keen on how Jones will hold up with the big boys at heavyweight. “Conditioning wise, he hasn’t ever looked the same since [before he tested positive].”
Jon Jones fights Ciryl Gane for the vacant UFC heavyweight title at UFC 285. The action goes down March 5th from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
