Does “Tank” Davis secretly want to be signed by Golden Boy Promotions?
Gervonta Davis may be fighting Ryan Garcia soon – but that hasn’t stopped “Tank” from showing love to Golden Boy Promotions founder Oscar de la Hoya.
Davis was seen sporting an Oscar de la Hoya shirt ahead of the super fight with Ryan Garcia – who is signed with Golden Boy. Could this mean that “Tank” secretly wants to be signed with the promotion?
The fight between Davis and Garcia has been building steam for years – and finally goes down on April 22nd at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
There has been no shortage of bad blood between the two – with Ryan Garcia recently dunking on “Tank” for sporting a purse at one of the press conferences.
Despite the intense buildup, it seems “Tank” still has appreciation for Oscar de la Hoya – whether it’s just for the boxing legends accolades in the Sweet Science or if Davis is hoping to get signed with Golden Boy remains to be seen.
