Nate Diaz vs. Jake Paul Doing HUGE Numbers, Crushing Social Media and Ticket Sales
Jake Paul got his megafight with a bonafide superstar – and the numbers tell the story.
Nate Diaz is the A-side in his upcoming bout with Jake Paul – and the proof is in the pudding. In the first 24 hours, Diaz’s Instagram post announcing the August 5th boxing bout has comparatively CRUSHED Paul’s Instagram post announcing the fight against Tommy Fury.
After 5 months, the Paul-Fury post garnered only 550,241 likes. After 24 hours, Nate Diaz’s post has 687,228 likes and counting – as well as DOUBLE the comments.
Safe to say Nate Diaz vs. Jake Paul is lining up to do massive PPV numbers – with the event already selling over 20,000 tickets in the events pre-sale.
According to Most Valuable Promotions, the Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury fight did around 775,000 PPV buys. A quick look at the numbers suggests that the fight against Nate Diaz is going to run laps around that figure – and for good reason. Simply put, Jake Paul has never fought anyone of Nate Diaz’s star power – nor fighting caliber.
