Tom Aspinall Demolishes Marcin Tybura, Calls Out Jon Jones at UFC London
Tom Aspinall knocks out Marcin Tybura in round 1 during UFC London main event
Tom Aspinall is back – and the heavyweight division is officially on notice.
It was an incredibly quick night at the office for Aspinall – finishing Tybura via TKO in only 73 seconds after sitting out the past year while recovering from knee surgery.

It was as dominant of a performance as one can imagine – with Tybura officially landing zero significant strikes. Talk about a flawless comeback for the hyper-talented Aspinall, who improves his UFC record to 6-1. Even more impressive is the fact that all 5 victories have come via finishes – 4 knockouts and 2 submissions.
The kid is good everywhere – and at only 30 years old, looks to be a fixture in the UFC’s heavyweight division for years to come.

Aspinall was already one of the heavyweight division’s brightest prospects before going down with a knee injury at UFC London last year on July 23, 2022 – only 15 seconds into the bout. Now that he’s back and healthy, Aspinall is looking to continue his run of dominance – with UFC championship aspirations.
Tom Aspinall is a man with a plan.
He wants to sit front row at UFC Paris to face the winner of Ciryl Gane vs. Sergey Spivak, before he goes on to challenge Jon Jones for the title.#UFCLondon pic.twitter.com/HZqJSz0ggq

“I’m going to beat the winner [of Ciryl Gane vs. Sergey Spivak], and then I’m going to beat Jon Jones!” Aspinall told Michael Bisping during his Octagon interview.
It’s a heavy-duty callout for a heavyweight prospect – and we’re all about it.
Ciryl Gane is slated to take on Sergey Spivak in the main event of UFC Paris on September 2, 2023. After that, Jon Jones defends his heavyweight title against Stipe Miocic at UFC 295 on November 11, 2023, at Madison Square Garden.
Things are about to get very interesting in the UFC heavyweight division.
