ONE Championship’s Victoria Lee has died at the age of 18 – one of MMA’s future stars taken from us too soon.

VICTORIA LEE TRAGICALLY DIES AT 18, CONFIRMED BY SISTER ANGELA LEE | Inside Fighting

Angela Lee confirmed the death of her younger sister, Victoria, on a post to her Instagram. The Lee family is one of the most successful MMA families in the history of the sport, with Angela and Christian Lee holding 3 belts in ONE Championship. Their younger sister Victoria was the youngest fighter to ever sign with ONE – having started her career at 16. As an undefeated fighter with 3 finishes, Victoria was considered one of MMA’s future superstars.

In her post, Angela Lee wrote that Victoria died on December 26th, 2022. A cause of death was not disclosed. The heartwrenching message describes Victoria as “the most beautiful soul who ever lived. She was the best little sister in the world. The best daughter, the best granddaughter and the best [godmother and aunt] to Ava and Alia [Angela’s children].”

Victoria was a supremely talented fighter who was seeking to follow in her older sibling’s footsteps – her brother Christian is a multiple-time champion in ONE, currently holding the lightweight and welterweight belts. Her sister Angela is ONE’s atomweight champion, becoming the promotion’s youngest champion ever when she first won the belt – a record Victoria was hoping to shatter.

The MMA world has lost one of its brightest young talents. Victoria was a force inside and outside the cage and she will be missed. The team at Inside Fighting wish to send our condolences to the Lee family during this incredibly difficult time.

Angela Lee closed out her post by imploring people to “check on your loved ones. Keep checking on them. Give them hugs and tell them how much they mean to you. You just never know.”
