After much trash talking on social media, Jake Paul released an interesting video of the sparring session between him and Hasim Rahman Jr.

Much to everyone's bad luck, the scheduled fight between Paul and Rahman Jr. has been canceled. The pair should have met at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Aug. 6, but weight issues prevented the bout from going down. Paul and Rahman Jr. agreed to clash at the cruiserweight limit of 200 pounds initially, but the New York State Athletic Commission changed it to a 205-pound catchweight due to the amount of weight Rahman Jr. had to lose before the fight. Together with his manager, Rahman Jr. then asked his opponent to meet at 215 pounds as he was having trouble losing weight. Considering all the changes since their initial agreement, Paul refused and decided to cancel the event. Rahman Jr. went as far as attempting a sort of weigh-in on Friday morning in New York City but failed to make weight as he hit the scales at 206.6 pounds.

In response to Rahman Jr.'s weigh-in attempt, Paul released a video of their 2020 sparring session on the Internet. At that time, the son of two-time world heavyweight champion Hasim Rahman was helping Paul to prepare for his encounter with Nate Robinson, a fight that Paul won thanks to a flash knockout at the 1:24 mark of Round 2.

Full 5 rounds of sparring from 2.5 years ago. No edits. People love to make clip outs to make themselves feel better but I always give you all the truth!

The video shows Paul landing some good shots on his sparring partner, who was fighting in an orthodox stance, unlike his usual southpaw one. At the end of the video, Rahman Jr. and Paul exchanged a few heated words.
